My son (now 37) lost his dad when his dad was 46. My son was just turning 13. He confessed to me several years ago that he is worried about approaching 46. Also, since he’s an only child, and my family has always been both physically and emotionally distant, he doesn’t have relatives to fall back on. I’m it, a responsibility that I have taken very seriously. Not easy, to say the least.
Eva, I’m always hear to talk to you or your son if at all helpful. It took me a long time to understand and digest my own life experience growing up. It has come out through my personal art, but also in retracing my own memories and family history. So I know only too well how its a journey, and a unique one for all of us. I wrote this article primarily in response to the diabolical comments made by Musk in regard to empathy. Because without empathy for our fellow man we are lost.
